After all, lazy people and procrastinators aren’t pariahs of society: we coexist with the most overachieving and the energetic, we fight the same battles, we go through the same motions and routines, but our laziness motivates us to find the most efficient solution to a problem and invent a new life hack.
There are downsides to being someone who puts off doing everything until the last second or until it’s absolutely necessary. We tend to forego eating well instead of spending time making healthy meals, we’re less likely to exercise and be into the #fitness life, and we navigate our way through spaces (home, office, car) that seem to be walled by piles of our own stuff.
But, luckily for those of us who put off doing chores because the thought of spending that much energy is unnerving, there are cleaning life hacks conjured specifically by lazy people, for lazy people.
Check these awesome life hacks that will save you time and make your life easier.
1. 5 minute microwave cleaner. Fill a glass bowl or ceramic cup with water and a halved lemon. Microwave it for a few minutes until the water boils. Then wipe it down with a cloth.
2. Blender cleaner. You made yourself a smoothie but now you don’t feel like disassembling the blender to clean it. Just fill it with water and a few drops of dish soap and blend thoroughly. Dump that soapy water, then fill the blender again with plain water and blend again.
3. Pans and pots. To remove the built-up scorching in a pan, just fill it with equal parts water and vinegar and boil. Then take the pan off the heat and add two tablespoon of baking soda. Then, empty the pan in the sink and scrub away.
